Broccoli - Calabrese Green Sprouting Seeds

This is the leafy vegetable seen in supermarkets and referred to as 'Broccoli'. Broccoli is a summer vegetable with a short growing season, where as Calabrese has a much longer season. Sow Spring to summer for cutting in Summer / early Autumn.

Can be grown over a long season, often succeeding where other brassicas fail. Once the main heads are removed, small sideshoots form, which are ideal for florets. Later maturity is possible in milder climates. Cut the heads before the flowers form or the plant will not produce any more.
